Each season, WFSO relies on donor support to bring live performances, music education, and community engagement to the Texoma region. The 2026 Annual Fund is how that happens.
What is the Annual Fund?
Ticket sales alone cover only a small portion (about 20%) of what it costs to bring a full orchestra to the stage each season. The Annual Fund is what closes that gap — WFSO’s yearly campaign for unrestricted support that goes directly toward the upcoming season to assist in budgeting and planning for everything we plan to bring to the stage in the next season.
We’re now inviting gifts to the 2026 Annual Fund, which will sustain WFSO’s work throughout the 2026–27 season beginning January 1, 2026. This year’s goal is $220,000, funding less than 20% of our total operating revenue. Because that revenue comes in well before the season’s expenses do, gifts and pledges made during the 2026 calendar year let us plan ahead with confidence and fully support our artists, educators, and programs.

WFSO generates an estimated $1.5 million in annual economic impact for Wichita Falls — supporting local jobs, businesses, and the cultural life of our community. Your gift to the 2026 Annual Fund ensures this work continues throughout the 2026–27 season.
