Brass Auditions will take place in the Music Building at Texas Woman’s University on Sunday, April 26, 2026 for the following openings:

• Principal Trombone
• Section Trumpet
• Low Horn: 2 openings (Second and Fourth)

Audition Date TBD: Strings and Percussion Auditions will take place in the Music Building at Texas Woman’s University for the following openings:

• Section Violin
• Section Double Bass
• Percussion – 2 openings: **
  • Assistant Principal Timpani/Section
  • PercussionSection Percussion

** PERCUSSION AUDITIONEES: If you are applying for the Assistant Principal Timpani/Section Percussion position and are invited to audition, please prepare both sets of Timpani and Percussion excerpts. If only auditioning for Section Percussion, you only need to play percussion excerpts.
